Common questions

Do I need an account?
No. Cloud Escape has no accounts and works offline. Everything works right away.

How do I play?
Tap a cloud to send it along its route. Every cloud has a fixed path that ends off the board. It only leaves if no other cloud is sitting on any square of that path. Hold a cloud for a moment to preview its whole route. Open How to play from Settings or the "?" button for a short guide.

What are lives?
You have four lives for each try at a level. Tapping a cloud that is blocked costs one life. If you run out, you can restart the level and try again. There is no timer and no penalty beyond restarting.

Are hints and undo free?
Yes, both are free and unlimited. A hint points to a cloud that can leave right now. Undo puts back the last cloud you sent away; it does not give back a lost life.

What are Arrows and Snakes?
Two looks for the same game. Choose one under Pieces. The rules and levels are identical.

I closed the app in the middle of a level. Did I lose it?
The level starts again from the beginning, but every level you have completed stays completed.

I changed phones or deleted the app. Is my progress gone?
Progress is stored only on your device, so a new phone or a reinstall starts fresh.

How do I delete my data?
Use Settings → Reset progress to clear your progress, or delete the app to remove everything. We hold no data about you on any server.
